In the Archdiocese of St. Louis, any child, validly baptized, may receive Confirmation in 7th or 8th grade. The Sacrament of Confirmation seals and completes what was begun in Baptism. At Assumption, we offer Confirmation to current 7th graders, and 8th grade tranfer students who have not yet received Confirmation. 

This year's 7th grade class is scheduled to receive Confirmation on Thursday May 8th at 7 PM at Assumption Parish church. The celebrant of the Mass is a representative of Archbishop Rozanski, Fr. Michael Lydon, episcopal vicar for the Southern Vicariate.
